Terms of Service
Who I Am
I am Dr. Jessica Eade, a Clinical Psychologist and the named data controller. I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) in the United Kingdom (registration number PYL04819) and adhere to their regulations and code of conduct, which can be found here.
My Services
My services are provided using encrypted Zoom, Google Meet or Whereby online video calls.
A session typically refers to a 50-minute video call, although shorter and longer sessions are available.
All sessions include administrative time. For a standard 50-minute therapy or ADHD support session, this is an additional 10 minutes.
While I can't guarantee specific outcomes, you'll benefit most by fully engaging in sessions and committing to out-of-session practice.
If you're not satisfied with my services, please raise your concerns with me first. If you feel unable to do so, you can contact the HCPC for assistance.
Fees and Payment
My standard rate is £120 per hour. For activities that take less or more time, the fee is adjusted accordingly. This means that shorter sessions and activities are charged proportionally based on my hourly rate, and longer sessions or activities are billed based on the actual time spent.
If your therapy or assessment is funded by an insurance company or another third-party organisation, charges might vary.
SSP activities are charged at different rates depending on the activity (assessment, report writing, monitoring, etc). Fees will always be discussed in advance.
All activities provided by my service are payable in advance via PayPal invoicing (no PayPal account needed) or direct bank transfer.
If using insurance, any excess must be settled by you. Fees will be discussed before starting treatment.
Working Online
Ensure you have access to an interruption-free and confidential place with a sufficient internet connection (download speed of at least 2mbps).
If we lose our connection during a video session and can't reconnect, we'll finish the session by phone or reschedule if more than half remains.
If the connection issue is on my end, I will refund the session in full.
Cancelling or Rescheduling
Please give 24-hours notice by email to cancel or reschedule, or you'll be invoiced the full session amount.
If you're late, you'll be charged for the full session, which will still end at the scheduled time.
If I need to cancel or reschedule, I will give as much notice as possible; sessions cancelled or rescheduled by me will not be charged.
