Therapy at Your Place

The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.

Online Psychology Services

Navigating the world of therapy can be challenging! Who should I contact? A counsellor, a therapist, or a psychologist? What’s the difference anyway? What type of support do I need? Will I be okay working online, or would I be better meeting someone in person? The options are endless and can be so confusing! Here is some info about my services, also see my FAQ section.

Who I Work With - I support adults dealing with a broad range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, and trauma. I have a special interest in working with clients with ADHD and the specific issues they often face including masking, burnout and co-occurring mental health conditions. I believe that my personal experience of ADHD gives me a unique perspective, helping me connect with clients who share this neurotype.

How I Can Help You - Through my varied training in traditional CBT, third wave cognitive-behavioural therapies and brief psychodynamic psychotherapy, I tailor my approach to meet your specific needs. Recently, I've embraced Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients understand and relate to their internal worlds, discover self-strength, and heal emotional wounds.

Understanding Sensory Challenges - Currently, I'm expanding my expertise with a course in autism and mental health. This has helped me better assist clients in managing sensory overwhelm and using the sensory system to restore balance in the nervous system.

Holistic and Experiential Methods - I incorporate experiential therapeutic methods to provide deeper, body-centred healing. My approach includes self and body awareness techniques, such as sophrology, breathwork, and mindfulness practices. These techniques can lead to improved self-management and emotion-regulation.

Powerful Therapeutic Aids - I'm excited to offer the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) in my practice. After years of interest and following its development, I am now a certified SSP provider. I believe SSP can be a valuable tool in your therapeutic journey, and I'm eager to share its benefits with you!
